Description
Disneyland "On Vacation with Mickey Mouse" Mickey Mouse Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1956). "We'll open on the beach at Waikiki!" We have in this lot a spectacular hand-painted and hand-inked production cel of the mouse that started it all, Mickey Mouse! This fabulous image of an excited Mickey Mouse can be seen at about the 6:24 of the Disneyland segment "On Vacation with Mickey Mouse," as Mickey plans on how to open his next show. The short was directed by Jack Hannah and featured Jimmy MacDonald as Mickey. This trimmed production cel, originally offered at the Art Corner Store in Disneyland, has a full-figure Mickey Mouse measuring 5.25" x 6", displayed on a 9" x 12" mat that showcases the Art Corner golden sticker on its back. The cel is shown on a printed background. Mat is sold as-is. In Very Good condition with minor handling wear from production.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Other Artist.
