Description

Detective Conan Episode 179 Conan Edogawa Production Cel and Animation Drawing (TMS Entertainment, c. 1996-2002). Brilliant detective Conan Edogawa speaks into his Voice-Changing Bowtie in this dramatic closeup from the celebrated anime series Detective Conan. The very first of his many gadgets created by Professor Agasa, the Voice-Changing Bowtie is most often used when Conan poses as investigator Kogoro Mouri while solving a case. A frequently used device that doubles as an iconic character design element, this hand-painted original production cel is a must-have for any fan of the long-running classic series. This extreme closeup of the titular hero nearly fills the 12 field cel, and it can be seen at about the 14:59 mark of Episode 179. In addition, this piece is accompanied by its matching original animation drawing rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field animation paper. Both the cel and drawing are numbered A3 in the upper right corner, and each piece shows minor handling and edge wear due to normal use in production. The condition is Very Good.
