Description
Daffy Duck's Fantastic Island Yosemite Sam and Tasmanian Devil Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1983). Friz Freleng directed this classic Looney Tunes cartoon compilation film. It was the first of the compilation feature films to star Daffy Duck, and used a parody of the television show Fantasy Island as its interstitial scenes' theme. In this film, Yosemite Sam is a Pirate and his first mate is the Tasmanian Devil. Daffy has stolen their treasure map for use with the Wishing Well. This is a great hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of both characters. In Yosemite Sam's hand is a black feather, his only clue that Daffy took the map. Great images, measuring 4" and 4.5". Taz only made a handful of cartoons, so a production cel of him is considered very rare. The cel has a Warner Brothers seal and is hand-signed by animation legend, director Friz Freleng (1906 - 1995). The 12 field production cel is matted with an opening measuring 12" x 9"; framed with glare-resistant glass for an overall size of 19" x 16". Frame is sold as-is.
