Description

Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse Production Cel Setup with Layout Drawing Background and Animation Drawings (Trans-Artists Productions, 1960). Heroic crimefighters Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse confront villains "Flat-Face" Frog (who always spoke like Edward G. Robinson) and Harry Gorilla, in this original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field 3-cel production setup. This gentle spoof of comic book superheroes was created by Bob Kane, who also created Batman and Robin, and can be thought of as the beginning of the 1960s "camp" craze. Figure sizes range from 2.25" to 4.5". The cels are placed on an original background layout drawing, in graphite and blue pencil on 12 field 3-peghole paper; the matching 12 field animation drawings of the figures is also in this great lot. Very minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
