Description

Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse Production Cel Sequence Setup with Pan Production Background and Animation Drawings Group of 11 (Trans-Artists Productions, 1960). Cartoon crimefighters Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse were created by Bob Kane, the man responsible for Batman in 1939. Here, the brave heroes confront villains "Flat-Face" Frog (who always spoke like Edward G. Robinson) and Harry Gorilla, in this original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field 5-cel setup. The Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse cels are a sequence of four. The cels are placed on a long pan outdoor scene background from a Bozo cartoon measuring 31.5" x 10.375"; it works very well here. Cel figure sizes range from 2.5" to 3.75". With the cels are matching 12 field 3-peghole animation drawings, done in graphite on red or blue underdrawings. Overall condition is Very Good, with minor handling wear.
