Count Chocula Production Cel (Murakami-Wolf-Swenson, c. 1970s). Offered in this lot is an excellent hand-inked and hand-painted original production cel from a classic live action/animated commercial advertising Count Chocula cereal. Introduced in 1971, Count Chocula is among the iconic monster mascots of General Mills line of monster cereals, the most popular being Count Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo Berry. This fantastic piece is presented on a photographic background for presentation purposes, and it bears an official ASIFA seal (International Animated Film Society). Initially sold at an ASIFA Hollywood fundraising sale, this rare gem is framed under glass with a mat window size of 11.5" x 8.5" and an overall frame size of 17" x 14". The frame is sold as-is, and the back of the frame bears an official ASIFA Certificate of Authenticity. Minor studio handling, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
