Description
COPS LongArm Production Cel Signed by Peter Chung with Master Background (DIC, 1988). From the animated series COPS, we have in this lot a great hand-painted production cel of the elite member of the Central Organization of Police Specialists, Patrick J. O'Malley, better known by his codename LongArm. This 12-field production cel has the patrol officer's hand holding a steaming cup of coffee that reflects his face, measuring an image size of 9.5" x 8.25", featuring an amazing airbrush effect on the steam, presented on a master background created in gouache on board. The multi-layer cel has Peter Chung's signature on the bottom right area. The cel layers have been stapled together and to the Master background and show minor surface scratches that don't affect the art. The Master background has been pasted to a board, and it shows a taped tear near the top left corner. In Very Good condition with light handling wear from production.From the Peter Chung/Æon Flux Archives.
