Description
Coonskin Production Cel Setup with Pan Background and Pan Collage (Ralph Bakshi, 1975). "I'm just gonna bring you one baby and that one's a rabbit," says Managan the tough-guy police officer/Mafia bagman, as he takes off in a car with his pals Ruby and Bobby, in this original hand-painted multi-level pan production cel. This is a three-level 12 field cel scene plus a pan car image, with other elements from different scenes combined behind it, including a background; overall setup size is approximately 26" x 11". With this is a pan photo montage background of various African-American images, some very dated and cliched; while it looks to have been made for the film, we couldn't spot it in our research, It measures about 38" x 10.75", with clear cel protective overlays with bits of masking tape. Good to Very Good overall condition, with handling and edge wear.Auction Info
