Description
Cool World Super Lonette and Bugs Production Cel Setup on a Master Production Background (Paramount, 1992). The lovely Lonette and the cigar chomping Bugs make up this fantastic setup from the Ralph Bakshi-directed feature Cool World. These characters made up Brad Pitt's inner circle, one his girlfriend and the other his police force partner in this film that combined live-action with animation. The 7.5" tall Lonette is hand-painted on a 12 field cel that bears a Paramount seal in the lower right. She appears at the 32:16 mark. The full-figure image of Bugs measures 3.5" x 5", has been trimmed to the image, and appears at 55:31. Both are over an original hand-painted Master background used at the 25:54 mark. This one-of-a-kind setup from a cult classic of the early '90s includes a studio-issued Certificate of Authenticity. The art is in a 22" x 18" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 12" x 9". The piece shows minor handling wear; otherwise condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.More information about Paramount Studios Artist.
