Cold Turkey Pluto Production Cel with Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 1951). This was Pluto's 43rd and his last starring appearance. The classic dog vs. cat cartoon paired him with Milton who was introduced the previous year in Puss-Cafe. Presented in this lot is an incredibly rare original production cel setup from this final Pluto cartoon with it's Key Master Background. The hand-inked hand-painted image of Pluto encased in ice along with the refrigerator door measures 9" x 9" on a 12 field 5-cel setup. It is presented over the original hand-painted Key Master production background from this scene at the 04:57 mark. The background has production, sequence and scene numbers along the bottom margin and has been signed-off on by director director Charles "Nick" Nichols. This is easily one of the best Pluto setups we have ever offered. Minor handling and some stale tears in the top cel; otherwise condition is Very Good.
