Description
Chevron TV Commercial "Dinosaur" Production Cel Setup (Chevron/Kurtz and Friends, 1975). This classic, award-winning animated commercial, designed by Robert Peluce, showed dinosaurs evolving out of a lump before slipping down into the rocks to become oil. Here's a great original hand-painted 12 field production cel of that opening moment, with its Master orange background, which is also painted on cel. The entire commercial may be found on the Kurtz and Friends website. The big blue multi-headed dinosaur measures about 6.75" wide by 5" tall. Cel is signed by animator/director Bob Kurtz.
