Description
CatDog "The Collector" Classic Pose Production Cel and Key Master Production Background (Nickelodeon, 1998). CatDog strikes a very familiar pose in this great Season 1 original hand-painted 12 field production cel. This popular series about conjoined twins of differing animal species (four seasons to date and a fifth season on its way) was created for Nickelodeon by animator/writer/voice actor Peter Hannan, who also worked on Rugrats, Pound Puppies, and Figure It Out. The cel image measures approximately 5" x 2.75", placed on the matching Key Master hand-painted production background of CatDog's home, showing their "fish and bone" wallpaper as seen at about the 16:34 mark; the background is noted in the lower margin as CD 414A (online episode listings note this episode, first shown on 10/15/1998). The background is painted with ink and watercolor on skimmed board measuring 13.75" x 10.5". Condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.Auction Info
