Description
Castle in the Sky Sheeta Production Cel (Studio Ghibli, 1986). Heartbroken by the sacrifice of the Laputan robot, Sheeta holds the automaton's finger as the mechanical guardian bursts in flames at about the 1:02:07 mark of the film. Presented in this lot is a touching image of Sheeta holding the finger of the guardian robot, measuring an image size of 10" x 7.25" with her dress and braids waving, also featuring a couple of her hand-inked tears, all on the hand-painted 13.75" x 9" production cel, numbered B62 in the top right corner. The cel is taped to a printed background for presentation purposes. With minor fading linework and light handling wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.More information about Studio Ghibli.
