Description
Castle in the Sky Dola Production Cel (Studio Ghibli, 1986). "Come about! Full rudder!" From the acclaimed anime film Castle in the Sky we have in this lot a hand-painted production cel displaying a terrific image of the maternal pirate, Dola. Seen at approximately the 1:17:01 timestamp of the movie, this 12-field cel shows Dola, still in pajamas, commanding her gang after seeing Muska's forces approaching. The cel is numbered A12 and bears the cut number 1051 in the top edge, displaying Dola measuring 13.5" x 8.25", showcased on a printed background for presentation purposes. Some fading is visible on the linework. The cel presents minor curling and overall mild handling and edge wear from production. In Very Good condition.More information about Studio Ghibli.
