Casper the Friendly Ghost Opening Title Card and Rough Layout Drawing (Hanna-Barbera, 1979). Here is a rare one-of-a-kind piece from animation producers, Hanna-Barbera. This opening title card for the series is a 3-cel layer over a color card background. The cels are hand-inked and hand-painted on 12 field acetate. The bottom cel is a Xerox onto acetate over a dark blue color card creating a beautiful background for the cels. Along with the cel setup is a rough layout drawing. The drawing was rendered in blue pencil on 12 field animation paper. Title Cards are considered rare and highly sought after by astute collectors. This piece comes to us from the personal collection of a long-time Hanna-Barbera executive. The punch-holes on the cels have been repositioned and taped on. Condition is Very Good.
