Captain Caveman Original RARE Stock Production Cel and Master Production Background from Scooby-Doo (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1970s). This rare stock production cel features Captain Caveman and is paired with a vibrant hand-painted Master production background used in a Scooby-Doo episode, creating a striking crossover setup. The cel is hand-painted on 12-field acetate, while the background is rendered in gouache on a 12-field background board, showcasing classic Hanna-Barbera craftsmanship. Captain Caveman, voiced originally by Mel Blanc, debuted in 1977 as part of Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels within Scooby's All-Star Laff-a-Lympics. His design drew inspiration from Rock Slag and Gravel Slag of Wacky Races, and his trademark battle cry and oversized club quickly made him a fan favorite. The character has been reinterpreted over the decades, voiced by talent including Jim Cummings, Tracy Morgan, Tom Megalis, and Jim Conroy in later incarnations.
