Description
Cap'n Crunch Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Jay Ward Studios, 1960's). "AHOY, kids!" Jay Ward Studios created the character Cap'n Crunch (fully named Cap'n Horatio Magellan Crunch) for the Quaker Oats Company in 1963. He agreed to produce the commercials with condition that they must be fun and they certainly were. This hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of the Cap'n is framed over a very detailed matching animation drawing. The full-figure Cap'n sporting a "Hero" ribbon, measures 4.25" tall. The combination of cel and drawing is framed with a mat opening of 8.5" x 10.5" and a frame measuring 14.5" x 16". Condition is Fine. Frame is sold as-is.More information about Jay Ward Studios.
