Description
Cap'n Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch Television Commercial Production Cel and Master Background (Jay Ward, c. 1969). The good Cap'n lowers a box of peanut butter cookies in this original hand-painted production cel. We assume he'll be turning them into his famous Peanut Butter Crunch cereal soon! Cap'n, rope, and box are on cel, with an overall image area of 4.5" x 4.75". A trimmed print of a Cap'n Crunch cereal box has been affixed to the cel, which is placed on a hand-painted Jay Ward production background. The setup is in an old Jay Ward Productions mat, with an opening of 9" x 7" and overall size of 13" x 10". Setups like this were originally sold at the Jay Ward Dudley Do-Right Emporium located on Sunset Boulevard from 1971 until the gift shop closed in 2005.
