Brave Little Tailor/Music Land Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Production Cel and Background Setup (Walt Disney, 1935-39). Original hand-inked, hand-painted production cels of Princess Minnie and Mickey Mouse in one of his greatest roles, the Brave Little Tailor. Cels are trimmed to image and mounted to a magnificent vertical pan production background from the Wilfred Jackson-directed Silly Symphony short Music Land. This is the balcony and castle staircase that Princess Fiddle Dee Dee descends in the Romeo and Juliet-themed short. It can be seen around the 2:15 - 2:18 mark into the short. Cels are great images of 3" and 4" from the Bill Roberts-directed short with animation by Fred Moore, Bill Tytla, Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston, Les Clark, and others. It was nominated for an Academy Award. This is one amazing background setup. Framed with Plexiglas, with a mat opening of 10" x 17". Slight curling on Minnie cel, otherwise Fine condition.
