Description

Boomer Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Artmic, c. 1980s-90s). An astonishing 12 field 3-peghole production cel and animation drawing of a what looks to be a Boomer, a synthetic lifeform produced by the Genom Corporation, from the 1987 series Bubblegum Crisis. The series followed a female group of mercenaries who armored up with powered exoskeletons and battled dangerous rogue robots. The imposing one featured here is a vibrant red, dramatically posed and skillfully hand-painted with shadow covering half its body. The matching drawing is rendered in graphite with color pencil. The figures both measure about 8.5'' x 6'' and are labeled A3. There is minor edge and handling wear on both with pinholes. Minor paint chips on the cel and paint in the top left. Light paint debris on the back of the drawing. The cel and drawing are stuck together. Fair to Good condition overall.
