Description
Beavis and Butt-Head "The Great Cornholio" Beavis Production Cel and Animation Drawing Sequence of 9 (MTV, 1994). "I am Cornholio! I need TP for my bunghole!" Appearing in only 6 episodes of the original run of Beavis and Butt-Head, it's Beavis' alter ego The Great Cornholio from his official introduction in the titular season 4 episode presented in this rare sequence of 6 original production cels and 3 coordinating original animation drawings. Needing very little introduction, Beavis and Butt-Head launched the career of Mike Judge, who went on to create such acclaimed comedy hits as King of the Hill, Office Space, and Silicon Valley. Beavis and Butt-Head was revived for a second time with new seasons streaming on Paramount+ in 2022. This sequence of 12 field cels has been hand-painted and interestingly have hand-inked detail on Beavis' fist which may have been an art correction. The drawings have been rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field animation paper. The cels and one of the drawings feature Beavis seated, missing his lower torso (which would be covered by his school desk on screen) and left arm which would have appeared in a separate layer. One of the remaining drawings shows his arm while the other features just Butt-Head's mouth possibly from the same scene. The drawing of Beavis's main character image features an embossed MTV seal. Production codes can be found along the lower edge of each piece. With typical studio handling and wear including reinforcement on several of the cels' pegholes, light paint wear, and debris, this lot is in Good to Very Good condition.More information about Beavis and Butt-Head.
