Beany and Cecil Cecil and Dishonest John Production Cel Group of 2 (Bob Clampett, 1962). "So come on kids, let's flip our lids! Higher than the moon! 'Cause now here's Beany and Cecil in a whole half hour Bob Clampett Cartoon!" Presented is a pair of rare hand-inked and hand-painted original production cels from Bob Clampett's hit TV series Beany and Cecil. Featuring Cecil the Seasick Sea Serpent and the dastardly Dishonest John, these impressive 12 field cels are must-have images from the beloved classic series (the Dishonest John piece is composed of two cels). Cecil measures a large 9.5" x 8.5" on the 12 field cel, and the hand-painted elements of the Dishonest John piece nearly fills the 12 field cels. Bearing Bob Clampett seals, the cels have the hand-written notation © 1962 Bob Clampett Prods. Original production cels from the celebrated show are especially hard to find artifacts. Each cel shows minor studio handling and edge wear, and the condition overall is Very Good.Auction Info
