    Description

Beanie and Cecil Multi-Character Production Cel Setup (Bob Clampett, 1962). "I'm coming, Beanie Boy!" is the signature line from this great Bob Clampett animated series about Beany and his pet serpent named Cecil. This show was one of the first three shows broadcast in color by ABC. There were only 26 original episodes produced; they were shown as reruns for years. This is an extremely rare hand-inked, hand-painted production multi-cel setup of Beany, Cecil, Captain Huffenpuff, and Cecil's, pet, "Careless the Mexican Hairless" Chihuahua dog. This is from the "Ten Feet Tall and Wet" episode, about Dishonest John (aka DJ) overhearing the Captain's plans to build a pool. It premiered on 5/19/62. Original cels from this show are considered very rare. Great images on this one, with sizes ranging from 2" to 9". Rare to have FOUR characters from this show in a cel setup! The setup is on a print background for presentation purposes. A Bob Clampett studio seal is on the top cel and a COA is on back of frame.
