Description

Batman: The Animated Series "The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy" Batman Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1992). Batman is getting whipped, and this time is not Catwoman! From Batman: The Animated Series, we present in this lot a fabulous hand-painted production cel from the suspenseful episode "The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy," presenting a great image of Batman getting attacked with a workout-machine cable. This 12-field production cel shows up at the 19:29 mark of the episode based on the comic book story "The Cape and Cowl Deathtrap," as Batman tries to apprehend Josiah Wormwood, aka The Interrogator, the man tasked with stealing Batman's cape and cowl. Batman is featured, measuring a figure size of 6.5" x 6.5", presented on a printed copy of the scene's background. The cel bears a WB stamp in the bottom left corner and is offered on a 19" x 16" Plexiglas-fronted frame with a 10.75" x 7.75" mat opening. A COA is included with the lot. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. In Very Good condition with minor handling wear from production.
