Batman: The Animated Series Batgirl Production Cel (Warner Brothers, c. 1992-95). Presented is fantastic hand-painted original production cel featuring a great closeup of Batgirl from the revolutionary Batman: The Animated Series. Setting a new high standard for Saturday morning action cartoons, Batman: The Animated Series is celebrated for its unprecedented complex themes, distinct art direction and quality animation. It is still regarded as one of the greatest superhero cartoons of all time. From the pivotal series, Batgirl measures 7.5" x 7" on the 10.5" x 9" cel. The piece bears a Warner Brothers seal dated 1994, and it is taped to a printed background for presentation purposes. Numbered G24 in the upper right corner, the cel shows minor handling and edge wear from normal production use. The condition is Very Good.Auction Info
