Description

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm Batman Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1993). "You're too late, Batman! There are 20 miles of tunnels under this place, and they're all filled with high explosives. In five minutes, everything goes up!" A battle-weary Batman is nearing the end of his week-long murder case as he is hot on the trail of the diabolical Joker in this hand-painted cel. Theatrically released on 12/25/1993, The Dark Knight is wrongfully accused of a series of murders that include mob bosses which are being committed by a new vigilante with a mysterious connection to not only Batman, but also Bruce Wayne. Actor Kevin Conroy (1955-2022) provided his complex but gruff voice for Bruce Wayne/Batman during the entirety of the DC Animated Universe's existence, and many other Batman related projects as he was 'the' voice of Batman for many generations. The 3-peg hole cel can be seen approximately at 1:06:42 timestamp of the feature film. The character image of Caped Crusader measures a near full figure at 6.5" x 6.75" and is displayed over a scene matching, print background for presentation purposes. The production cel bears a Warner Brothers seal in the upper right corner and is accompanied by a signed COA. The overall condition is Good to Very Good with some handling wear and edge wear.
