Description

Batman Beyond "Terry's Friend Dates a Robot" Production Cel Sequence of 3 (Warner Brothers, 2000). Featured in this lot is a rare sequence of three hand-painted production cels from the Batman Beyond Episode "Terry's Friend Dates a Robot" that show the protégé of Bruce Wayne, Terry McGinnis, putting on his Batman mask, as seen at the 11:13 mark of the episode. Set twenty years after the events of Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond featured a retired Bruce Wayne, trusting Gotham city in the hands of Terry McGinnis, the next Batman tasked with protecting the city. These three production cels, numbered A14, A16, and A18 in the top right corner, feature Terry sliding his mask on, providing a spectacular scene of the new Batman getting ready to fight crime. Terry as Batman measures a figure size of about 7.75" x 6.5" across the three 12-field production cels. The lot is presented on a Plexiglas-fronted 41.5" x 16" frame with three 10" x 8.5" mat openings. The three cels feature WB stickers in their top right corners, and the lot is accompanied by a COA. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The lot shows overall very light handling wear from production and is in Very Good condition.
