Bambi Thumper Production Cel Setup and Custom Background (Walt Disney, 1942). One of the stars of this classic film is the lovable young rabbit Thumper, Bambi's best friend. He was animated by both Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, while his great voice was done by a young man named Peter Behn. This is a rare hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Thumper, in a superb 2-cel setup, with an image size of 2.5". He is a very difficult character to find in original animation production cels. This adorable full-figure image is on a hand-painted custom background, added for presentation purposes. Light restoration has been done on the cel. Matted with an opening of 12" x 11", beautifully framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 26" x 25". Frame is sold as-is. Slight curl to the lower portion of the top cel, otherwise condition is Very Good.
