Description
Bambi Production Cel Courvoisier Setup with Master Production Background and Walt Disney Signature (Walt Disney, 1942). "Those are birds... He's trying to say bird -- say bird!" says Thumper to the young Bambi. He tries, and we hear "Bir... bir... bir!" This is an outstanding hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Bambi and Thumper with all his brothers and sisters. This is an original Courvoisier cel setup in its original frame with cream-colored mat and script writing. The cel has hand-painted production cel overlays and is on a Master hand-painted production background. The background can be seen when Bambi's mother stands by the downed tree in the "Say Bird" sequence. The original Courvoisier mat is boldly hand-signed by Walt Disney (1901-1966). The Master setup is framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 19.5" x 17.5". Condition is Very Good. One of the single most beautiful Bambi setups we have seen!More information about Bambi.
