Description
Bambi Production Cel and Custom Background Setup (Walt Disney, 1942). Possibly from the scene where Bambi meets Flower for the first time, this great looking cel of the "Young Prince of the Forest" is hand-inked, hand-painted, and one of the largest full image cels of him we have seen! Bambi measures approximately 5" x 5" and appears to be trimmed to the edges and mounted on a clear cel over a custom produced hand-painted background made for presentation purposes. The cel was previously sold in 1990 at Sotheby's auction sale #7270, lot #255. Handsomely matted and framed with a UV glass front.
