    Bambi Preliminary Title Card with Painted Background (Walt Disney, 1942). Here is a preliminary title card for Bambi. Title Cards, also called title sequence or opening credits, is the method by which films or television programs present their title and key production and cast members to viewers. Title cards go through the same rigorous approval process as any other element in the production. This title card is a preliminary piece rendered in a "Color Key" size of 5" x 6". Most title cards are at least 12 field size which makes this piece very rare. The artwork consists of a hand-painted cel over a painted background. The title card is enclosed in a Plexiglas-fronted frame of 15.25" x 11.5". The frame has a matboard aperture of 5.25" x 4". Frame sold as-is. Artwork condition is Fine.
