    Description

    Bambi Faline Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1942). Bambi had its world premiere showing in London on 8/9/42. The movie, directed by David Hand, was the fifth Disney animated feature film and was based on Bambi, A Life in the Woods by Felix Salten. In December of 2011, it was chosen to be in the National Film Registry for preservation by the Library of Congress. This is a rare trimmed production cel of young Faline, on a print background for presentation purposes. The cel is trimmed and in a new glass-front frame measuring 11.75" x 13.5". Mat opening is 4" x 6". Many of these cels were laminated which destroyed them. This rare Faline cel is a full-figure image of 3". Charming image! Fine condition.
