Aura Battler Dunbine Rimul Luft Production Cel with Master Background (Sunrise, c. 1983-84). The daughter Drake Luft and ally to the Nie Givun's resistance forces, Rimul Luft is featured here in a terrific hand-painted original production cels from the classic fantasy/mecha series Aura Battler Dunbine. Created by Yoshiyuki Tomino of Gundam fame, Aura Battler Dunbine bears similar themes on the tragedy and complexities of war. This stunning cel is presented on a beautiful Master background rendered vividly in gouache on background board. The piece measures an overall 12.5" x 10", and it shows minor handling and edge wear due to normal use during production. The cel is stapled to the background in the top corners, and the condition is Very Good.From the Glad Museum Collection.
