Description
Angel's Egg Girl Production Cel (Studio Deen, 1985). "Maybe the bird never existed at all." "It exists. It's here..." The nameless girl cradles her precious egg in this fantastic original production cel from the haunting and surreal animated film Angel's Egg. Directed by Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor) and co-created by renowned visual artist and character designer Yoshitaka Amano, Angel's Egg features minimal dialogue and striking allegorical imagery, regarded as a cult classic. This 13.5" x 9" cel can be seen at the 44:55 mark of the film, with a hand-painted image area of 7.75" x 6.75". The cel is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes, and it shows minor handling and edge wear from normal use in production. Minimal taping at the top edge.
