    Description

Alex Toth Banana Splits Adventure Hour "Micro Ventures" Title Card Production Cel and Key Master Background Setup (Hanna-Barbera, 1968). Part of the rotating cartoon line-up framed by the live-action segments of the Banana Splits themselves, the cartoon Micro Ventures was similar to the movie Fantastic Voyage (which also had a cartoon in 1968 from Filmation). This 16 field, 3-peghole, 3 cel production setup is on its Key Master hand-painted background. The cels are hand-painted; one features the characters in the car, while the second is the show title, and the third is the spiral in the background. The entire image area measures 10.5" across with the jeep measuring 2.5" x 2.5". This show premiered on November 9th, 1968 and the great Don Messick voiced Professor Carter. Be sure to look for Alex Toth's original concept art for this title card in this same auction! This is very rare and in Fine Condition.
