Kaneda recklessly barrels through the crowds on his iconic red motorcycle in this stellar hand-painted original production cel setup from a pivotal scene in the animated hit Akira. Akira was the most expensive film of its kind in 1988, and this cult-classic is credited with introducing Japanese animation to the masses. This massive original 20" x 14.25" setup is composed of five cels displayed on their original Key Master production background, seen at the 1:32:46 mark of the film. This is a must-have for fans of the classic anime masterpiece, an ambitious motorcycle shot on an elusive and highly coveted Key Master background! The background is rendered masterfully in gouache on board. Overall minor studio handling and edge wear with pinholes in corners. Light paper debris, and the condition overall is Very Good.
