Description
Æon Flux CD-Rom Commercial Breen Soldiers, Production Cel Signed by Peter Chung (MTV Animation, 1996). A group of Breen Soldiers arrives at the scene in this terrific hand-painted production cel from the unpublished game for the cult-following animated series Æon Flux, accompanied by three animation drawings. This kinetic image of the armed forces with smoke flowing behind them can be seen at about the 0:07 mark of the superb animated ad, produced at the legendary studio Madhouse, showcasing the image in the two-layer cel, measuring a total image area of 10" x 8" and signed by Peter Chung near the bottom right corner. The cel is featured on a printed background for presentation purposes. The three matching animation drawings included with the lot, numbered B12, D12, and A9 in the top right corner, present the soldiers, smoke, and flowing effect rendered in graphite and colored pencils on 12-field animation sheets. The layers have been taped by the top corners, and some tape residue on the top edge. Some fading can be seen on the linework, and overall, the lot shows light handling and edge wear from production.
