Æon Flux CD-Rom Commercial Æon, Scaphandra, Custion, and Breen Soldiers Production Cel Sequence of 4 (MTV Animation, 1996). Monican agent, Aeon Flux, is in the spotlight with this lot, offering a rare sequence of three spectacular hand-painted production cels from the high-octane commercial for the never-published video game based on the series, all signed by the show's creator, Peter Chung. This adaptation of the Aeon's escapades by Cryo Interactive began development in 1996. Although it was ultimately canceled due to the termination of the license agreement, elements were reused for the video game Pax Corpus. These absolutely stunning images were created for the cut at the 0:05 timestamp of the animated commercial, featuring first only Aeon illuminated by a searchlight with Custodians nearby, with the following cels also showcasing Scaphandra, and the last one presenting the Breen Soldiers. The four cels show Peter Chung's signatures in the bottom right area. Some fading can be seen on the linework. The cel layers have adhered together.
