A Sheep in the Deep Ralph Wolf Production Cel and Painted Background (Warner Brothers, 1962). ....
Description
A Sheep in the Deep Ralph Wolf Production Cel and Painted Background (Warner Brothers, 1962). Ralph Wolf hurries along in his morning routine with the help of a roller skate in this original hand-inked and hand-painted production cel. Animation Legend Chuck Jones created Ralph and his sheepdog nemesis-coworker Sam for a series of seven theatrical cartoons; A Sheep in the Deep was the penultimate short in the series, released on 2/10/1962. Ralph (who looks like Wile E. Coyote except for his red nose) is seen here eating a piece of toast and using the towel from his shower as a napkin; you can see this at about the 1:06 timestamp before he goes to his "job" of trying to catch a sheep. The image has an approximate size of 3" x 6". The cel is placed on an original hand-painted production background from a non-specified short. The cel and background are matted with an opening of 10.25" x 8.25", framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 19.75" x 18.25". All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The setup is in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling wear.Auction Info
