Description
101 Dalmatians RARE Danny Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1961). "What is it, Danny? Who's on the telegraph?" This cel of Danny is a first for us! The great dane, voiced by George Pelling, was Pongo and Perdita's saving grace in the film. When their puppies were stolen by Jasper and Horace to become part of Cruella's new fur coat, they sent out a message to other dogs nearby. Danny was one of the first to hear it and this large 6.25'' x 7'' hand-painted cel is from that scene, found at about 34:26 in the film as Scottie joins him outside to see what all the fuss is about. After learning the news, he passes the information from dog to dog until it reaches Towser and Colonel, who are able to reunite them with their puppies (and many more that Cruella has stolen) with Danny's help. The cel is displayed on a print background from the film and is in an 11'' x 9'' mat window and 21'' x 19'' x 1'' Plexiglas-fronted frame. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. If you've been looking for a cel of Danny to complete your 101 Dalmatians collection, now is your chance! Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear.Auction Info
