Description
101 Dalmatians Lucy Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1961). "Towser, what's going on?" Lucy the goose from Disney's 101 Dalmatians makes a rare appearance in this lot, showcasing a stupendous hand-painted production cel of the feathered character. The film is renowned for its use of Xerography, being the first Disney feature film to use this technique, saving the production a lot of time by getting the inkwork Xeroxed from the animation drawings instead of hand-painting the linework. Pausing the movie at the 36:52 mark will reveal this image of Lucy as she tries to figure out what the gossip is all about, showing her in full figure, measuring 2.5" x 2". The cel is presented on a printed background and offered on a 17.5" x 15.5" mat with an 11" x 9" opening. The mat is sold as is. In Very Good condition with light handling and edge wear from production.Auction Info
