101 Dalmatians Cruella De Vil Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1961). "Dognapping, can you imagine such a thing!" says Cruella De Vil as she sits in bed, smoking and reading about the recent puppy kidnapping. This exceptional original production cel from 101Dalmatians (1961) features the iconic villainess, Cruella de Vil, in all her eccentric, fashion-obsessed glory. Designed and animated by Disney Legend Marc Davis, Cruella is one of Disney's most memorable antagonists, a reckless, impulsive heiress determined to create a fur coat made from Dalmatian puppies. Unlike other Disney villainesses, Cruella possesses no magic or master plan-only an insatiable desire for luxury and excess, making her one of Disney's most terrifyingly realistic villains. This hand-painted production cel includes the very rare addition of an FX cel of green smoke trailing from her lips. An exceptional image of a classic Disney villain. It is in an 18" x 18.5" frame under glass with a mat opening of 8" x 8". Very minor paint cracks in the pink blanket and a faint circle around the image that is likely the result of a round mat opening from a previous frame. Overall condition is Very Good.
