Peter Ellenshaw "Fall Reflections, Giverny" SOLD-OUT Limited Edition Giclée on 37" x 23" Canvas AP6/14 - Signed by the Artist (Mill Pond, 1998). Gorgeous artist's proof giclée, Fall Reflections, Giverny, by Disney Legend Peter Ellenshaw-AP 6/14-coming directly from Ellenshaw's private archive, a rare chance to acquire an AP from the artist himself. Inspired by Claude Monet's storied village in Normandy, the 37'' x 23'' piece captures the luminous pond at Giverny: sunlit water glazed with reflections, lush autumn foliage and poppies along the banks, and Monet's iconic footbridge hovering in the near distance. Ellenshaw's hallmark mastery of light and atmosphere translates Impressionist serenity into a cinematic glow, marrying plein-air intimacy with epic depth. Across a seven-decade career, Ellenshaw created matte paintings and visual effects for more than 50 films, earning four Academy Award® nominations and the OSCAR® for Walt Disney's Mary Poppins. His credits include The Thief of Bagdad, Treasure Island, Spartacus, The Love Bug, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Black Hole, and Dick Tracy. Honored by MoMA and the American Film Institute, he was named a Disney Legend (1993) and inducted posthumously into the Visual Effects Society Hall of Fame (2017).
