The Tigger Movie Pooh and Piglet Presentation Cel with Key Master Background and Drawing (Walt Disney, 2000). "Do these particular Tiggers seem rather strange to you?" says Winnie the Pooh to Piglet, while searching for Tigger, a frog lands on his head. The Tigger Movie was the first feature-length theatrical Pooh film to not be a collection of previously-released shorts, which is the case with 1977's The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. This 16 field, hand-inked and hand-painted presentation cel is placed on the corresponding Key Master background and paired with the matching production drawing. The background was hand-painted in gouache on background board. The piece is noted as "Original Production Background by Walt Disney Animation." The drawing was rendered in graphite on 16 field animation paper. The cel and the drawing both bear the official seal from Walt Disney Animation. A Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney is included. The cel is signed by two of 'Walt's Nine Old Men," Ollie Johnston (1912 - 2008) and Frank Thomas (1912 - 2004). The artwork is in a 42" x 20" frame that also includes a placard reading, "Winnie the Pooh and Piglet, Original Production Background, The Tigger Movie 2000." Frame is sold as-is. All 16 field Winnie the Pooh cels are considered very rare, making this a "tiggerific" opportunity to acquire an extraordinary piece of animation art! Fine condition. From the MacLaughlin Family Disney Collection.
