DescriptionThe Rocky and Bullwinkle Show Bullwinkle, Rocky, Boris and Natasha Signed Scene Cel (Jay Ward, 1989). "Get Moose and Squirrel!" This show was originally titled Rocky and Friends between 1959 and 1960, but renamed The Bullwinkle Show in 1961, and ultimately The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show in 1964. This is a hand-inked, hand-painted scene cel that was sold at the Dudley Do-Right Emporium on Sunset Blvd., in West Hollywood. This is a rare early scene cel featuring Rocky, Bullwinkle, Boris and Natasha and is signed by studio head Jay Ward (1920-1989). Cels like this were not normally signed, but if Mr. Ward happened to be in the shop he would gladly autograph them. Adding to its rarity is that it is still in its original Jay Ward Productions Inc. mat. The characters together measure approximately 9" x 6.5. The mat measures 13" x 11", with an opening of 9" x 7". The signature is slightly faded; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
