Description
The Herculoids Publicity Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1967). Designed by the legendary comic book artist Alex Toth (1928 - 2006), The Herculoids premiered on CBS on 9/9/1967. Here is an original hand-painted publicity cel used in the creation of press materials for the show, or possibly for commercial use in games, toys, clothing, etc. Pictured are Gloop, Gleep, Zok, Dorno, Tara, Zandor, Tundro, and Igoo from this odd but very cool mash-up of prehistoric creatures, barbarians, and science-fiction themes. The cel is matted with an opening of 10" x 12.5", and an overall mat size of 16" x 20". In Very Good condition with minor handling.Auction Info
