The Great Grape Ape Show Beegle Beagle Publicity Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1975). Beegle Beagle appears in The Great Grape Ape Show as best friend to Grape Ape who referred to him as "Beegly Beagly". The Great Grape Ape Show was a series created by Hanna-Barbera for ABC as part of The Tom and Jerry/Grape Ape Show in 1975. This fun image of Beegle Beagle dressed in his cowboy costume is a publicity cel. Publicity cels are hand-painted at Hanna-Barbera's ink and paint department and often used by the marketing team for press and consumer products merchandising. Beegle Beagle stands 4" tall on 12 field acetate and paired with a background copy/print. The setup is matted to 14" x 18" with an aperture of 9.5" x 7.5". Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
