DescriptionThe Fox and the Hound Publicity Cel and Painted Background Brochure Art (Walt Disney, 1981). The story begins with a mother fox, with fear in her eyes, and a child in her mouth, running all throughout a forest, passing over a mountain, until she reaches a farm. There she hides her baby next to a fence, quietly says goodbye and runs away. The Fox and the Hound tells the story of two unlikely friends, a red fox named Tod and a hound dog named Copper, who struggle to preserve their friendship despite pressures demanding them to be adversaries. This is original artwork used for a publicity brochure for the film. The artwork was hand-inked and hand-painted onto 16 field size acetate over a hand-painted background. The piece measures 20" x 13". This is a fantastic piece of rare one-of-a-kind Disney artwork! Condition is Very Good. From the Lee Reem Collection.
