    Description

Skatebirds The Robonic Stooges and Animated Skatebirds Publicity Cel Animation Art (Hanna-Barbera, 1977). Rare! We have never seen a cel from the oft forgotten Hanna-Barbera show Skatebirds! The live-action costumed-character TV show was an attempt to re-invent the Banana Splits Show, complete with cartoon segments interspersed with furry-suit slapstick bits. The Skatebirds (Knock-Knock, Satchel, and Scooter) were menaced and harassed by Scat Cat (voiced by Scatman Crothers) in the comedy bits. Crothers is also well remembered as the voice of Hong Kong Phooey and Jazz of The Transformers. One cel has the Skatebirds and Stooges on it with a combined image area of 8" x 7.5". The other has the Skatebirds logo measuring 7.5" long. On painted presentation background. In Fine condition.
