    Description

    Peanuts The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show "The Dance" Production Cel Sequence of 14 and Pan Master Background with Group of 10 Animation Drawings (Bill Melendez, 1983). This is a fantastic one-of-a-kind Snoopy progression cel setup on a Master pan background from the episode "The Dance." For starters, this is a very long hand-painted Master background measuring a whopping 36" x 10.5". This is one of the longest Snoopy backgrounds that we have seen. The background painting is attributed to the hand of Dean Spille. Mr. Spille was a long-time background painter and concept artist for Bill Melendez Productions. The background has 14 production cels featuring Snoopy and Peppermint Patty positioned in sequence on the background in a way that shows the characters' action. The cels were hand-painted on 12 field acetate. Progression pieces are very special because of the scarcity of good backgrounds that have a fun sequence of action cels like this one. Included in this lot are the 10 matching animation drawings. A rare acquisition opportunity not to be missed by fans of Joe Cool. Minor production handling and edge wear with tape in the border area. Condition is Very Good.
